Due to various circumstances, some women may feel that a termination of pregnancy is the best option for them. Termination of a pregnancy can be conducted medically or surgically under sedation. In a medical termination, a woman will take medication to induce a miscarriage. This can be done until 9 weeks of gestation. Beyond 9 weeks, a surgical procedure is require to terminate the pregnancy.
